ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work in various OHCAC programs arranging for necessary maintenance and repair of fixtures and equipment. Deliver Inter Office Mail. Clean and maintain buildings. Perform scheduled maintenance at program sites. Ability to follow through on maintenance goals as defined. Ability to work independently and assume additional duties assigned by immediate supervisor as necessary. Perform duties including requesting purchase orders, working with managers to obtain professional building assistance – for example: plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc. Oversee maintenance of necessary building materials, light bulbs, cleaning supplies, etc. Assess maintenance situations, if necessary consult with Fiscal Office Manager, and make recommendations regarding appropriate action. Perform regular yard work including mowing and trimming, snow shoveling, and salting as appropriate of OHCAC sites as directed by immediate supervisor. Assemble equipment and furniture as needed and authorized by immediate supervisor. Act as a substitute food service driver or mail courier as needed Adhere to and report safety concerns. Maintain a safe environment while performing duties.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Participate in non-required workshops, education, and training opportunities within when possible for personal and professional growth.
2. Participate in a team process both within the department and the corporation.
3. Attend any required internal and external trainings or meetings.
4. Demonstrate ability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities when asked.
5. Demonstrate ability to be an independent worker and have good organizational and time management skills.
6. Maintain a safe driving record and have reliable transportation.
7. Required to report any driving violations.
8. Drug and alcohol testing to be conducted as required by OHCAC and funding source.
9. State and federal criminal checks to be conducted as required by funding source and OHCAC.
10. Adhere to all OHCAC Personnel and Procedures and all written agency policies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. The General Maintenance Technician is accountable for the above essential functions to the OHCAC Fiscal Office Manager.
